Check out the suggestions for the best advanced hikes!
These are not climbing trips. No technical skills or equipment will be required. Although in some parts there are chains to hold on to and it is important to be aware of your own fears of heights and open spaces.
Advanced Hikes
For those who are looking for something challenging and ambitious
I would like to offer all day trips in the High Tatras. Some of the routes have difficult access and you will need to hold on to chains or climb ladders but don’t worry, no technical experience is needed from you. I will take you to the famous Świnica, majestic Kościelec or the highest peak in Poland – Rysy. Hiking with a Tatra Mountain Guide helps ensure your safety plus it enriches your knowledge about the surroundings and nature in the Tatra National Park.
I organize individual trips or in small groups.

Palenica Białczańska – Morskie Oko – Dolina za Mnichem – Szpiglasowy Wierch – Dolina Pięciu Stawów – Dolina Roztoki – Palenica Białczańska
Very Long hike which requires good health, condition and experience in hiking. During this tour you will visit the most beautiful valleys in High Tatras.
We pass Morskie Oko, legendary post glacial lake in the heart of High Tatras. By the lake’s shore lies a mountain lodge where we can stop for food and drinks. The trail goes to the next valley which is placed almost 400 m higher. There our route goes to Szpiglasowy Peak 2172 msl. There is a view on all the lakes around including the Slovak side. The hike down is supported with chains.
We hike down to the famous Five Lakes Valley where we can make a stop in a mountain lodge over there. Through Valley Roztoki we finish our loop and end up back in Palenica Białczańska.
Palenica Białczańska – Morskie Oko – Czarny Staw Pod Rysami – Przełęcz pod Chłopkiem – Morskie Oko – Palenica Białczańska
This hike is not so much of a loop but Przełęcz pod Chłopkiem pass is one of the most colorful and exciting touristic trails that exists in Polish Tatras. From Morskie Oko lake we hike up towards 177 meters higher Black Lake that is placed right below Rysy Peak, the highest in Poland.
The route towards Przełęcz pod Chłopkiem leads through rocky walls and steps that are supported with chains and it gives us an enormous view all the way long. The Pass lies on the border line with Slovakia which gives us a full panorama on High and West Tatras of both countries.
The way down is the same as the way up. Other routes from there are climbing and very advanced routes which you might want to try one day.
